The Dita bun is inspired by it's namesake, the fabulous Dita Von Teese, and is a super sleek, oversized bun positioned at the top front of the head. After a little practise, it's a really quick and easy style to do, but looks really stunning.
I did this video tutorial at Easter, so show you how to do a Dita Bun with a big hair flower. This Halloween, I have a few new products that work perfectly with this style (the Cat Ear Bun Pins, Bat Wing Bun Pins and Bat Hair Net, as well as all the new hair flowers), so I wanted to share the video again.
You don't need much to do this style- a hair donut, a good supply of bobby pins, 2 hair bands, a hair brush and a bottle of hair spray. It works well on hair that hasn't been washed for a day or so, but can be done on freshly clean hair, as long as it's dry.
